Drew’s practice focuses on representation of businesses in general corporate matters, securities issues, real estate matters, and corporate and employment litigation. Drew’s focus includes:
Prior to joining Niehaus & Associates, Drew practiced as an associate at two medium-sized, Midwest-based firms, both specializing in complex commercial litigation. In that capacity, Drew was seconded, on a part time basis, to the in-house legal department of a Toledo-based, Fortune 500 Company for approximately 12 months, where he managed a variety of litigation and non-litigation matters.
Drew has co-authored articles focused on insurance coverage issues, including the impact of asset purchase agreements on rights to historical insurance coverage. Drew served as a moderator, and co-author, for “The Devil is in the Details: A Practical Overview of Notice, Tender, and Reservation-of-Rights Letters” presented at the 2011 American Bar Association Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar in Tucson, Arizona.
Drew is a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation, and a member of the 2011 Fellow Class. He is also an original member of the ABLE / LAWO Emerging Leaders’ Council, and serves on the counsel’s steering committee.
Before obtaining his law degree, Drew worked, and managed, a family-owned insurance brokerage with a primary focus on agricultural and public entity risks.
Drew graduated magna cum laude from the University Toledo School of Law, and is a member of Order of the Coif. Drew obtained his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Bowling Green State University, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
